Offered is a 1942-D/D Jefferson Nickel certified Fine-15 by PCGS and attributed as the desirable D/Horizontal Drepunched mintmark (FS-501).

This is one of the better-known Jefferson Nickel RPM varieties and is recognized in the Cherrypickers' Guide. The underlying horizontal mintmark is visible, making this an excellent certified example for collectors assembling a Jefferson variety set.

The coin displays attractive original surfaces with honest circulation and strong overall eye appeal for the grade.
