Offered is a 1913-D Type 2 Buffalo Nickel certified Good-4 by PCGS.
The 1913-D Type 2 is one of the more desirable better-date issues in the Buffalo Nickel series. Introduced after the mid-year redesign in 1913, the Type 2 reverse features the buffalo standing on a recessed exergue, protecting the denomination from excessive wear. Denver Type 2 nickels saw a relatively modest mintage of 4,156,000 pieces, and circulated examples remain popular with collectors assembling complete Buffalo Nickel sets.
This example displays honest circulation consistent with the assigned grade while remaining problem-free and professionally authenticated by PCGS.
