1909 VDB Lincoln cent certified PCGS MS65RB with attractive original red-brown color and strong overall eye appeal. This first-year Lincoln cent issue remains one of the most collected and recognizable coins in the entire Wheat cent series, featuring the famous Victor David Brenner initials on the reverse.
The coin displays pleasing original surfaces with blended red and brown coloration, noticeable remaining mint luster, and stronger visual character than many duller RB examples encountered in the grade. The reverse shows especially attractive color with vibrant underlying red and violet-brown tones that give the coin excellent collector presentation.
Contact marks are minimal overall for the grade, and the surfaces appear natural rather than overly bright or processed. A very appealing Gem Mint State example of this iconic first-year issue.
