Nice example of the collectible 1840 Seated Liberty Half Dime – No Drapery variety, an important early subtype in the Seated Liberty series. The “No Drapery” design was used only briefly before the drapery was added at Liberty’s elbow later in 1840.
This coin is graded VF35 by ANACS and displays attractive detail across Liberty and the surrounding stars. A great addition for collectors assembling a type set or early Seated Liberty collection.
